Okay, so the PSP has undergone several changes the past few years. I think its had 5 updates/upgrades total, from updating the size, the resolution, the overall quality, etc. Now Sony has revamped it all the way up and remodeled the whole thing...
Now it has come up with the new PSP go.
Its reasonably smaller, the screen is about the size of the iTouch's. Sony got rid of a few of the unnecessary components of the PSP, eg the UMD slot since the new PlayStation Store has been up for the past few months. Several of the other features are kept but Sony has also added some other features such as 16 GB internal memory for your downloads and its keeping its Memory Stick Duo slot giving it the ability to expand its memory up to 32 GB - maybe even more if Sony releases a memory stick with a larger capacity. The new PSP had also added a Bluetooth feature for headsets and mobile transfers, this also allows it to connect to the PS3.
Now, this all sounds pretty cool, but then again there's also the whole dilemma with the $249 price tag and whether or not this can be hacked for iso compatibility for those who really don't want to spend money. I for one would get it - once the firmware is hacked and up for kerneling, isos and customization. Knowing Sony, the battle between the company and the world's hackers, Sony has adapted pretty quickly to the newest hacks but the hackers are working even faster.
Sigh, I wonder where this will end up. Anyway, what do you guys think about the new PSP? Cool, or not?

hardware hasnt changed, its the same thing, except smaller.

I always wanted a PSP, but I have my Ipod Touch now so yeah. ._.
@thethoughtfaucet - in the interviews and everything, it's not another psp since it will have entire new games that the psp will not be able to play.
PSP screen resolution has never changed. PSP has always been able to connect to PS3's remote play even without bluetooth. And this is the PSP's 4th iteration. it is not even expected to replace the PSP 3000. The memory stick is also not a pro duo, it's Sony's other portable memory card thing.
I wouldn't expect it to be hacked (released to the public) for the new generation of PSP Go games since all games are bought off PS store. you would need need to rewrite the firmware somehow (which has been fixed) to rip these games somehow. o_0
I do not want unless it has a touchscreen. Why have a big screen without access to controling to the screen. You always has to open up that touchscreen.
The thumb nub looks even harder to use, lulz.
